RE:                   Transmittal Sheet for Portal Submissions

PURPOSE

To advise dealers and title service agents that the VR-205 Transmittal Sheet will no longer be required for work submitted through the dealer portal.

SUMMARY

The Vehicle Services Division of the Motor Vehicle Administration (MVA) has updated the dealer portal to include new fields to show the breakdown of fees for the transaction.

Completing these fields will make the submission of a transmittal sheet unnecessary for portal transactions. A screenshot of the updated “Upload Documents” page is below.

Effective May 20, 2026, MVA will no longer require the VR-205 Transmittal Sheet be submitted with transactions through the portal.

Please note, the VR-205 Transmittal Sheet is still required for transactions submitted at a branch office.
