Normal operations will resume on Tuesday, January 20

GLEN BURNIE, MD - The Maryland Department of Transportation Motor Vehicle Administration (MVA) branch offices and Vehicle Emissions Inspection Program (VEIP) stations will be closed on Monday, January 19, 2026, in observance of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day. The MVA will reopen for normal operations on Tuesday, January 20, 2026.  

Customers are encouraged to sign up for a myMVA account to access over 60 online services or schedule an appointment at an MVA branch here. The MVA 24-hour kiosks and self-service VEIP kiosks will be available during the holiday.
