Maryland Department of Transportation Motor Vehicle Administrator (MDOT MVA) Chrissy Nizer and Maryland Transportation Authority (MDTA) Police Chief Colonel Kevin M. Anderson will be available for media interviews ahead of the increased impaired driving enforcement expected during the weekend as Marylanders prepare to watch The Big Game.

WHY:
Thirty Law Enforcement Agencies across the state will be providing additional impaired driving enforcement this weekend as Marylanders are expected to watch the Big Game. In 2020, 120 people died and more than 2,600 were injured on Maryland roadways due to impaired driving.
