We know your time is valuable and we have worked diligently over the past year to roll out several customer service enhancements—both online and in our branch locations—that allow you to complete your transactions as quickly as possible. When Governor Larry Hogan took office in 2015, he tasked state agencies with improving customer service across the board. This initiative, known as the Customer Service Promise, has inspired us to significantly improve the customer experience at MDOT MVA and exceed your expectations. We have done this in many ways, from providing one of the most secure driver’s license and identification cards in the nation, to bringing TSA PreCheck, TWIC Card, and Department of Natural Resources services to several of our MDOT MVA branch offices. Online we also now offer the sale of EZPass devices as well as the opportunity to renew your boat registration. Our goal is to provide convenient, efficient, and secure services to Marylanders.
Not only is the MDOT MVA tasked with providing outstanding service to our customers, but as Governor Hogan’s Highway Safety Representative, all the employees at the MDOT MVA are dedicated to reaching zero deaths on Maryland roadways. Through education and creative outreach as well as the work of our partners throughout the state, we are working to save lives and prevent injuries.
