​MAY EMPLOYEE SPOTLIGHT​

Oscar, Customer Contact Center 
Oscar should be the mark against what we measure premier customer service!  His dedication to our Latino population is unmatched; not to discredit his gift of service to all Marylanders. He provides service with compassion, respect, competency, and ease to all.  He has been a tremendous team player and brought us many ideas on how to improve our service. Oscar had the great idea to record our Holiday Closure messages in Spanish to keep our customers informed. Most recently, Oscar took time to proofread and adjust our “rough” google translations for our upcoming IVR rollout. He was able to assist us in what he calls “simple” changes to make sure our content is correct and easy to understand. If that was not specific enough to show the above and beyond for Oscar, let me be clear - there is so much more. He always comes to work with a smile and encourages that sentiment for others. He is well-liked and admired among his peers and co-workers. Oscar goes the “extra mile” for leadership and customers, and we are better for it. He is truly an asset to the MVA, to Marylanders alike, and we are proud to have him on our team!
