MDOT MVA Offices & VEIP Stations to Close in Observance of Presidents Day

Normal operations will resume on Tuesday, February 17

GLEN BURNIE, MD (February 12, 2026) -- The Maryland Department of Transportation Motor Vehicle Administration (MVA) branch offices and Vehicle Emissions Inspection Program (VEIP) stations will be closed on Saturday, February 14, 2026, and Monday, February 16, 2026, in observance of Presidents Day. The MVA will reopen for normal operations on Tuesday, February 17, 2026. 

Additionally, all VEIP self-service kiosks will be unavailable on Saturday, February 14, 2026, from 7:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. for system improvements. 

Customers are encouraged to sign up for a myMVAaccount to access over 60 online services or schedule an appointment at an MVA branch hereMVA24-hour kiosks will be available during the holiday.
