GLEN BURNIE, MD (August 4, 2025) – The Maryland Department of Transportation Motor Vehicle Administration (MVA) is hitting the streets this summer, participating in more than 25 National Night Out events statewide to ensure residents can connect directly with the agency beyond its many branch offices.
National Night Out, held this year on Tuesday, August 5, is an annual, nationwide initiative that brings together law enforcement agencies, local organizations, and community members to strengthen relationships, promote public safety, and build stronger neighborhoods.
“As the Motor Vehicle Administration continues to deliver a premier customer experience in our branches and online services, we also recognize the importance of meeting Marylanders where they are,” said MVA Administrator Chrissy Nizer. “From Pocomoke City to Oakland and everywhere in between, our team is committed to ensuring every resident has access to the resources and support they need to fulfill the Moore-Miller Administration’s commitment to leave no Marylander behind.”
At each location, MVA Ambassadors will provide one-on-one assistance and highlight the many services now available through their myMVA Online Services account. Residents can stop by to learn how to:
In addition, Community Engagement Managers from MDOT MVA’s Highway Safety Office will be in attendance at the Ocean City, Ocean Pines, Hyattsville, Cumberland, and Halethorpe events to share life-saving tips on pedestrian, bicycle, and driver safety.
