WHAT:
The Maryland Department of Transportation Motor Vehicle Administration (MDOT MVA), together with state and local law enforcement officials, will remind motorists traveling over the Fourth of July holiday weekend about the risks of impaired driving, and will encourage drivers to plan ahead for a safe and sober ride home to avoid tragedies and the potential for severe consequences.

Law enforcement representatives will be available for media interviews. There will also be opportunities for b-roll of the Mobile Alcohol Testing truck, a support vehicle that allows officers to test, verify and arrest suspected drunken drivers at checkpoints across the state. |
