All MDOT MVA Offices and VEIP Stations Will Be Closed on Thursday, July 4 and Friday, July 5; Offices Will Reopen on Saturday, July 6, 2019

Glen Burnie, Md. (June 25, 2019) – The Maryland Department of Transportation Motor Vehicle Administration (MDOT MVA) will close all branch offices and VEIP stations Thursday, July 4, 2019 and Friday, July 5, 2019 in observance of Independence Day. The MDOT MVA’s online services, 24-hour kiosks and self-service VEIP kiosks​ will be accessible to customers during this time. MDOT MVA is in the process of contacting customers with appointments scheduled for July 5 and is working to reschedule those appointments. Customers have the ability to reschedule or cancel an existing appointment by visiting the MDOT MVA Central Scheduling system. All MDOT MVA offices and VEIP stations will reopen Saturday, July 6, 2019.

  • Vehicle Registration Renewals
  • Insurance Compliance Payments
  • Title Replacements
  • Change of Address
  • Driving Records
  • Duplicate or Additional Registration Cards
  • License Plate Purchase/Replacement
  • Temporary Registration
  • Information on Administrative Flag Fees
  • VEIP Test Date Extension
  • Driver’s License Renewals
  • Substitute Sticker

MDOT MVA reminds customers that extended service hours are available Thursdays and Saturdays. Branch customer services are available until 6:30 p.m. Thursdays and starting at 8 a.m. Saturdays. The complete 2019 MDOT MVA holiday and closure schedule is available here.​
