Silver Spring, MD (August 14, 2017) – On Tuesday, August 15, 2017, the Maryland Department of Transportation Motor Vehicle Administration (MDOT MVA) will celebrate the 20th anniversary of the MDOT MVA Mobile Bus and unveil a new design on the vehicle at Leisure World.
The MDOT MVA Mobile Bus was introduced in 1997, and data available starting in 2002 shows it had completed 192,702 transactions through June 2017. The bus serves as a mobile office, delivering services directly to Maryland residents. Most services completed at a branch or online can be completed on the bus. Since the introduction of the bus, the service has consistently achieved 100 percent customer satisfaction.
