WHAT: The Maryland Department of Transportation Motor Vehicle Administration (MVA), in partnership with the Maryland Department of Veterans and Military Families (DVMF), will officially open a new Veterans Service Center at the Annapolis MVA Branch. The office will help veterans, active-duty service members and their families access federal, state and local benefits and services. This expansion reflects MVA’s commitment to providing a one-stop-government shop experience where Marylanders can access a wide range of state services in a single and convenient location.
This marks the eighth Veterans Service Office opened at an MVA location since 2019, part of a statewide initiative to improve access to resources for Maryland’s military community.

Last year DVMF’s veterans’ services program helped secure $54.4 million in federal VA benefits for over 6,000 Maryland veterans, dependents and survivors—a record year. This expansion reflects the Moore/Miller Administration’s continued commitment to supporting those who served and their families.
