GLEN BURNIE, MD (October 24, 2024) The American Association of Motor Vehicle Administrators (AAMVA) has once again honored the Maryland Department of Transportation Motor Vehicle Administration (MVA) with multiple international and regional awards.
The honor was presented during AAMVA’s 2024 Annual International Conference where motor vehicle administrators and law enforcement agencies from the United States and Canada discuss best practices and issues affecting the community.
“These awards truly highlight some of the great advances taking place at the Maryland MVA.” Motor Vehicle Administrator Nizer said. “Many of our accomplishments were made possible by the hard work and dedication of our committed employees. We continue to set the example and raise the benchmark on what it means to do business with a motor vehicle agency.”

The AAMVA awards honor individuals, teams and organizations who have committed their time and resources to safety initiatives, outstanding customer service, and public affairs and consumer education programs.
AAMVA was founded in 1933. The association serves motor vehicle and law enforcement agencies throughout North America.
