MDOT MVA, Maryland Department of Veterans Affairs Open New Veterans Service Office in Wicomico County

SALISBURY, MD (March 3, 2020) – The Maryland Department of Veterans Affairs (MDVA) will join the Maryland Department of Transportation Motor Vehicle Administration (MDOT MVA) for the opening of a new Veterans Service Office inside the MDOT MVA Salisbury branch office. Veterans and their dependents will be able to apply for benefits and receive other services at this location.

WHY:  
Maryland is committed to honoring our veterans and always looking for ways to better serve them and their families. The Maryland Department of Veterans Affairs Service and Benefits Program aids men and women who served in the uniformed services of the United States, as well as their dependents and survivors, in obtaining benefits from the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, the U.S. Department of Defense, the State of Maryland and other agencies serving veterans and their families. This is the second veteran’s service office opened in partnership between MDVA and MDOT MVA. The first one, at the MDOT MVA Glen Burnie Branch in Anne Arundel County​, opened last year.
