MDOT MVA Online Services and 24-Hour Self-Service Kiosks Down for Maintenance beginning 2 p.m. September 28 through 12 noon September 29

Customer Service Enhancements Require Computer System Upgrades

GLEN BURNIE, MD (September 26, 2019) – The Maryland Department of Transportation Motor Vehicle Administration (MDOT MVA) will temporarily close its eStore, appointment scheduler and 24-hour self-service kiosks beginning 2 p.m. on Saturday, September 28 through 12 noon Sunday, September 29 to perform required computer system upgrades.

The maintenance upgrade is one of three annual software updates made by MDOT MVA, which coincides with legislative effective dates from the Maryland General Assembly. Information will be provided on MDOT MVA’s website at www.mva.maryland.gov​, on Facebook @MarylandMVA and Twitter @MD_MVA to confirm when online transaction services are available.

To provide customers with additional service options, MDOT MVA branches have extended hours until 6:30 p.m. on Thursdays to complete transactions. MDOT MVA appreciates customers’ patience and cooperation as we work to enhance our services.
