​Owners of Class “F” tractors registered in Maryland may apply for an income tax credit certificate from the Maryland Department of Transportation Motor Vehicle Administration (MDOT MVA)  in the year the vehicle was registered. The certificate may be applied to your Maryland state income tax to offset the expense of registering a Class “F” vehicle.

The certificate will be issued in the amount of $400 per vehicle and limited to $10,000 (maximum 25 vehicles) for one taxpayer. The credit may not extend to another taxable year.

Credits will be issued for tax years 2017 through 2019.
