Vehicles with plates for individuals with disabilities or personalized plates can obtain 1910 Vintage Reproduction plates. In addition to the annual
registration fee, there is an
additional yearly fee for personalized plates.
Cost
There is an
initial fee for purchasing the 1910 Vintage Reproduction Plate. In addition to the initial fee there is an
annual fee . The substitution of the 1910 Vintage Reproduction Plate is an additional substitute tag
fee.
To Request a Background Scene Plate
There are several different options for obtaining a 1910 Vintage Reproduction plate:
- Online with myMVA online services
- By mail – A separate fee is needed for these plates. Select the 1910 Vintage Reproduction Plate option on your mail-in renewal application. (Please note: Plates have an additional
yearly renewal fee.)
- At an MVA branch location
If you are renewing your registration at the same time, include your renewal notice and registration fee along with the additional plate fee.
Make check payable to MVA. Checks must include imprinted name and address, MD ID (Driver’s License Number), and home and/or work phone number.
On receipt of your 1910 Vintage Reproduction Plate, immediately return the license plate(s) presently on your vehicle to any MVA office or by mail for cancellation.
This plate will be mailed to the address on record within 7-10 business days of payment.
