MDOT MVA Branch Offices and VEIP Stations to Close March 23 for System Upgrades

Online Services Unavailable from 9 p.m. on March 22 through noon March 23

Glen Burnie, MD (March 4, 2019) – The Maryland Department of Transportation Motor Vehicle Administration (MDOT MVA) will close all branch offices and VEIP stations on Saturday, March 23, 2019 to perform required computer system upgrades.Additionally, the MDOT MVA eStore and online transactions will be unavailable from 9 p.m. on Friday, March 22 through noon Saturday, March 23. MDOT MVA’s 10 self-service VEIP kiosks will remain in service during that time. Self-service VEIP kiosk locations.​

MDOT MVA will provide information on its website and social media channels to confirm when online transaction services are available. MDOT MVA branch offices and VEIP stations will resume normal business hours on Monday, March 25.

To provide customers with additional service options, MDOT MVA branches always have extended hours until 6:30 p.m. on Thursdays to complete transactions. Customers are encouraged to utilize extended hours for the most efficient and simple visit. MDOT MVAappreciates customers’ patience and cooperation as we work to enhance our services.
