​Cynthia is a consummate team player. She has done an amazing job bringing together a collaborative team of internal and external stakeholders to advance traffic safety in her program areas. She spearheaded the MVA Glen Burnie Walktober activities and organizes Walking Wednesday events at local elementary schools. Whenever a helping hand is needed with events or activities, even outside her program areas, Cynthia is quick to raise her hand and volunteer. When she's not in the office, you might find her out and about moonlighting as Cheswick the Crab, our traffic safety mascot, teaching children and adults how to Walk Smart, Drive Smart, and Bike Smart. Cynthia is a tremendous asset not only to the Maryland Highway Safety Office, but to all of MDOT. ​​
