DOT MVA is open by appointment only until further notice.  Make an appointment now. (Please note appointments are not needed for tag returns and use of the self-service kiosks, however a simple health screening is required to enter all branch offices.)

Office of Adminstrative Hearings to hold MVA hearings remotely

All MVA driver’s license hearings will be held remotely via WebEx unless good cause is shown for an in-person hearing at the OAH Hunt Valley location. Please review your notice of hearing carefully for instructions on participating in a remote hearing. Click here for WebEx FAQs. 

New Online Services Available for Customers

Customer Connect, MDOT MVA's system-wide modernization software is providing more flexibility to customers that want to complete transactions online and minimize their transaction time when visiting a branch office.  Customers can now begin a title and registration application (appointment required to complete transaction), request a disability placard or update their vehicle insurance from their phone, computer or tablet.  Visit the eServices portal​ to view Customer Connect in action.
